Saturday, 5th December. Sensei Dev Barrett graded students from both The Hereford and
Shrewsbury clubs with a good attendance and everyone passing! They have now taken the next step toward their black belts.
Sensei Charles was proud to see three of his students reaching their next belts after an impromptu
invitation to the grading.

Saturday, 4th July. Sensei Red Walcott graded students
from both The Hereford and Shrewsbury clubs with an impressive attendance for students taking their first grade, and everyone in attendance passing.
Sensei Charles was proud to see five of his students all reaching their next belts, with Mark starting the challenging steps to achieving his Black Belt.

10.05.2009 - 1st Kyu Course
Sunday, 10th May. Chris 'Stan' Staniforth attended the ECKA 1st Kyu course in Coventry.
A gruelling two hour course, with an interesting five way (four on one) sparring session.

Tuesday, 12th August. Charles Mansell became Sensei of ECKA Shrewsbury,
taking over from Sensei Dave Power.
Charles would like to thank Sensei Dave for the privilege of taking over and running ECKA
Shrewsbury. With special thanks to being his instructor for the best part
of twenty years and wishes him success in further club adventures.
Charles welcomes the challenges ahead and what the future will hold.
